Premio Bonporti 2022 without a First Prize

 In News

For the jury (president Pedro Memelsdorff, Argentina) there is no winner of the Premio Bonporti 2022. Third prize to Ensemble Fulcrum (Germany) and fourth prize to Lux Musicae Ensemble (Italy). To the composers a “Merit Award” for Richardus Cochlearius (Italy) and a “Special Award of the Artistic Direction” for Giulia Capecchi (Italy). The “Rovereto Città della Pace” Audience Award to the Italians of Lux Musicae Ensemble.

After two sessions ( “da Chiesa” at the Redentore and “Da Camera a Palazzo Alberti”) the 27th edition of the Rovereto Premio Bonporti dedicated to early music ended. A very innovative edition that met with the public’s favour because of the splendid historical places where the performances took place and the encouragement of creativity.

Of particular significance the first edition of “Historical Composition”- the only event of its kind on the international scene – where the candidates also performed their creations during the final evening at Palazzo Alberti, arousing considerable curiosity.

The international audience had the opportunity to follow the entire competition in live streaming and also to vote online. The evenings are still visible on the website
